NOS vs NET telnet

I have seen this frequently when logging into UNIX systems here.  I asked about
it several months ago, and was told that it wasn't a known problem, and that
my hardware must be dropping characters internally...I also see this rarely
when talking to a local microvax using telnet...I don't know why.  Of
particular interest:  The trace looks like I _AM_ getting all of the characters
and that screen processing is screwing up.  I wish I knew, but I haven't had
time to run this one down.
