Flag Frames

I have noted the recent correspondence regarding the "preamble" 
sent by TNC's and have noted the characteristic sounds of those 
sending HDLC flags and those sending a square wave during txdelay.

The Tiny-2 version 3.1 PMS firmware, as distributed in the UK, 
however has a distinctly different sound. The "preamble" sounds 
just like "random" data and not like either of the "regular" 
flag sequences.

I wonder if this is yet another attempt at improved 
synchronisation ?? It seems to work OK, as far as I can tell.

I'm sorry I can't give more information other than that of my 
ears !!
