spread spectrum info

I am running a couple of NCR WaveLAN spread spectrum boards on a pair of
UNIX laptops. These boards are compliant with "part 15," but what
exactly are the rules for output power? Is it 1 Watt ERP or something
else?
I would like to get some 900 MHz yagis for these boards. Would that be
illegal?

I have also heard about a "part 97" that would allow one to use more
transmission power. Does anyone happen to know if these boards comply
with part 97?

Tnx,
        Anders
