The Pocket Packet firmware does not include KISS. A KISS (or TAPR firmware
containing KISS) will not work because the Pocket Packet requires software
setting of the baud rate, etc.
TASCO included KISS in firmware for later versions of this TNC. I think the
model number was TNC-u21. Tom Clark had a version with KISS on his old
Tomcat server, but this has been gone for sometime. Maybe someone else has
it available, or you could contact TASCO. They no longer have a U.S.
